Catalina Delacour grew up tied to the French mob. Her father, Charles J. Delacour was the leader of one of the most powerful mobs in all of France. For years she spent most of her dats with her mother or a tutor, never really seeing her father or any of his associates. It was at the age of sixteen that her mother changed both their names, divorced her mob-boss husband and moved the both of them to Honolulu, to try and start a new life away from the life of terror and crime.
Nine years later, Summer Swann now works at the local resort as the diner manager. Her mother Trisha had passed away from lukemia and was cremated, her ashes scattered in the ocean. Summer was devistated the day that her mother had died, but used the will she had left to move on and work on her career, and her classes, in hopes of one day owning a resort herself.
